Completion of one of the four NVHT-recognised foundational hand therapy training programmes (basisopleidingen handtherapie).

At least three years of work experience with at least 1,800 hours of hand therapy treatment experience in the past three to five years (upper extremity conditions including hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, and related shoulder presentations as defined by NVHT).

At least 120 continuing-education points in the past five years on follow-on training (vervolgscholing), per NVHT portfolio rules.
