Cookie policy

Last updated: 2026-04-22 · Plain-language summary of how we use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies.

What we store today

HandTherapy.app is local-first. Symptom logs, exercise sessions, and personalization choices are stored in your browser via localStorage and IndexedDB on your device. They do not leave your device unless you explicitly opt in to a cloud or export feature.

Cookies we use

  • Essential: small cookies required to keep the site working (e.g. session continuity for the waitlist form).
  • Preference: remembering UI settings such as therapist mode or narration toggle.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party marketing pixels.

Third parties

We embed fonts from Google Fonts, which may set cookies for font delivery. We do not share personal information with advertisers. Future analytics integrations (if any) will be privacy-respecting and clearly disclosed before launch.

Managing cookies and local data

You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. Doing so will remove your local symptom history and personalization. Use the in-app export tools first if you want to keep a copy.

Changes

We will update this page when we add new technologies. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
