Setup

  • Rest the hand palm-down on a table with fingers relaxed.

Steps

  1. 1Use the other hand to lift the thumb away from the palm in a comfortable line.
  2. 2Hold the stretch; avoid sharp pinch pain.
  3. 3Return slowly to the start.

Cues

  • Open the web, not the wrist.
  • Stop before numbness.

  • Hyperextending the MCP into a painful pinch.
